35. xymonau27 February 2011, 0:30 GMT +01:00

Do you have many flies in Great Britain?

36. happyture27 February 2011, 8:43 GMT +01:00

In the summer months we get a few, especially with me living in a agricultural area, you know,,,cow muck, etc etc, gets bad at times, but as the weather does not stay hot for long they soon disappear, Why do you want me to post you some Dezzie, cuz i will, anything for you, you knows that, I,ll start catching the bluebottles now... now wheres my old Y fronts.......

37. xymonau27 February 2011, 8:54 GMT +01:00

I really laughed hard at that!

We have flies of all breeds, and millions of them in summer. Pity they aren't edible - although most Australians will swallow a few accidentally in their lifetime. It's what makes us tall tanned and incredibly attractive. If you could see what's typing this, you'd laugh hard and all. Oh, I am tall.

38. happyture27 February 2011, 9:29 GMT +01:00

No,,,i wouldn't laff, I'm not like that, I,m tall too in a round sort of way, I'm probably just as tall lying down as standing up,,,but who cares,,I don't.... :O)

39. xymonau27 February 2011, 10:07 GMT +01:00

You been eatin' flies, too?

41. xymonau27 February 2011, 12:22 GMT +01:00

42. Groningen27 February 2011, 17:56 GMT +01:00

..bet the bones make great pointy sticks!

43. happyture27 February 2011, 20:05 GMT +01:00

Oh don't encourage Missy with pointy sticks, "FROGS" The buggers don't stay still long enough to get a fork in um do they....

44. xymonau27 February 2011, 23:13 GMT +01:00

They do if you use a dab of superglue as a garnish.

45. happyture28 February 2011, 0:15 GMT +01:00

Ahh yeah,,,didn't think of that, bet they sell some superglue in france then, Think i,ll stick to me Fish N Chips salt N vinegar, brown sauce, bread N butter, cup of tea, and a bakewell tart mmmm,,,,

46. xymonau28 February 2011, 10:01 GMT +01:00

Nutritional value - zero; taste - divine!

I'm having leftover fish and chips tonight. I've already managed to burn it. Half a piece of barramundi in batter, a giant potato scallop, and about 12 chips. Too lazy to cook. I am hungry, so I'm off to have that now.

47. krayker28 February 2011, 11:47 GMT +01:00

giant potato scallop..

never heard of such a creature :P

maybe you should try a humongous jackfruit squid. hehe. :)

48. xymonau28 February 2011, 12:29 GMT +01:00

I really want to taste jackfruit, but they're so expensive here. Perhaps I should reverse the title - scalloped potatoes - a large slice of potato dipped in batter and deep fried. My arteries harden at the mere thought. So take your squid, smarty pants, and pop him back in the ocean.

49. krayker28 February 2011, 13:11 GMT +01:00

you should india or any of the SEAsian countries - pretty cheap around here.

...and yeah, I'm vegan, so I wouldn't mind tossing the lil squid back into the ocean, hope the little guy doesn't find another monster who wants to eat him :)
