I think the amazing part is the not so much the movie as is the microscope-idea and how it is used it in the field.

A peek at future transportation

Transportation is a growing problem around the world. More vehicles on the road lead to more traffic and pollution. This inventor thinks he has a solution. Called the Shweeb, it combines a monorail with a bicycle. People can pedal to work safely above the traffic.

I see one problem with this. Public transport isn't as popular as cars because cars can go anywhere they like and stop anywhere they like.

This is more like metro/trains/buses, so a replacement for public transport then anything else.

It would work best if you could take your own bike from home and then get on the 'freeway' when you needed it. So you would not need to walk to work from the Shweeb-station.

Very interesting concept though.

And I am always worried about animals that seem to have to get their own water (dogs and toilet bowls, for example). I wonder if their owners put water out for them. But it's a really cute and clever cat, all the same.

Computer History/Humor with John Cleese

Most of us are all too familiar with the funny and somewhat obnoxious PC-vs.-Apple commercials. But back in the 1980s, Compaq took a more indirect but just as humorous swipe at the competition — IBM. Starring the famous and hilarious John Cleese, Compaq's new portable computer is put up against a … 22-pound fish!

Talk about creatures of habit: Once a dog gets used to the idea that he can’t walk through a glass door, he won’t walk through it even when the glass is gone.

Ravens have a certain image. They tend to show up when creepy things happen. But many often overlook how crafty Ravens can be. That is especially true when they're going after food. You won't believe what they can do. PBS special.
