Always a popular thread at the other place.
I'll kick this one off.
It was my birthday the other day. I was expecting a bottle of my favourite perfume (I've been dropping hints I was running low) and woke up to a Land Rover Freelander on the drive. I've always wanted a 4x4 and now I've finally got one courtesy of my Mum and my Significant Other Half.
Okay, so it's not a new one and it's not an all singing, all dancing model, but that doesn't bother me. It's a freaking Freelander, dudes!

Downside - I'll have to fund my own bottle of smellies. Oh hold on - there's Mother's Day coming up...

Somebody is downloading all my images that was downloaded eight times before. Weird. Do you have the same?

Michal, maybe they are downloading from the random images? I don't know the magic number to get there (it might have changed), but that could explain it.

I looked at this yesterday, it took me some time to figure out what was going on.
Someone in Spain on the Orange, I think mobile network, was downloading the whole week. They stopped.
They used some tricks we didn't check for yet, but we do now.
At the end of the day, I think all we can do is discourage them. Never completely prevent it.

Thanks for investigation. I think they are back ;-). But maybe they are just making a local archive? I think they are not the rippers because they work manually...

It is obvious they would come back, we can't prevent people from downloading. I mean that is the whole point of the site, people can download ;-)
I think my new code has a bug though, but I've not found it yet.

Seems to be solved.
The bug was in a different place than we expected.
I wish I had done it sooner though.
We'll have to see what happends with the downloads statistics.

I still don't know how to use mine. I can't text messages. I can barely find any messages sent to me. It's just not natural to have so much technology beyond a certain age. And I'm clearly beyond it.

I bought a new Canon 60D body. Should be a big improvement over the older 30D I have now.

Chris, tell me more! I am planning to get 60D this spring. And I still do not know if it is a right decision. Is it really worth its money?
