180. happyture21 December 2011, 16:01 GMT +01:00

181. xymonau22 December 2011, 10:04 GMT +01:00

182. happyture22 December 2011, 10:18 GMT +01:00

Oh i can see you are in a anti Pomgolian mood today, and so near Christmas too, cuz you know we Pomgolian's hinvented Christmas, yeah years ago,,before jeebus was born i think,,

183. xymonau22 December 2011, 12:05 GMT +01:00

Well, that's almost true. December 25 was being celebrated all over the place before Jesus was born. He wasn't born then as the shepherds were out on the hills. They didn't do that in winter, because there was snow there. The most recent deity to have Dec 25 as his birthday was Mithra. It was the feast of Saturnalia as well as many other things. It isn't a holy day, but it doesn't hurt to celebrate the good things about it.

184. happyture22 December 2011, 14:25 GMT +01:00

Yeah,,,I celebrate the Simla,,,,lovely Indian restaurant in a little town called Oswestry...full of nom nom noms and all done to perfection,,tell you, the chefs a god in his own right, his chicken bahoona' is a joy to behold...

185. xymonau22 December 2011, 23:06 GMT +01:00

I don't mind Indian food, but I prefer Chinese.

There used to be a noodle place in Holland Park in Brisbane that did a peanut sate to perfection. Oh, I loved that stuff! Sadly, it changed hands, and the new owners had no niceness about their cooking. I never went back after I tasted theirs.

186. happyture22 December 2011, 23:23 GMT +01:00

I cant eat nuts, have a nasty effect on me, last time i ate a sesame seed bar i ended up in hospital on drips n all sorts so i leave them well alone now .

189. xymonau24 December 2011, 11:06 GMT +01:00

I don't feel so limited with my diet, then. You must have to be careful and read labels like I have to.

190. happyture24 December 2011, 18:36 GMT +01:00

I Do, yeah no peanuts, nuffink, cant eat um at all, never ever...

191. xymonau24 December 2011, 23:01 GMT +01:00

Ah, well, as long as we can find something to fill our bellies, we're still better off than most of the planet.

192. happyture24 December 2011, 23:05 GMT +01:00

Well,,its 10.05 pm sat night, and im cooking the turkey,,so i,ll fill my belly tomorrow but sadly not on turkey, as i cant eat that neither!!!

193. xymonau24 December 2011, 23:16 GMT +01:00

I have never cooked a turkey in my life. Never will, either - unless life takes a bizarre twist! I always associate xmas with chicken. And these days a nice cold lunch is perfect. Tradition just has to yield to the weather. Anyway, I'm on my own, so I am having a delicious fruit breakfast, and then I'll dig out a veggie roast and after I fire up the air conditioner, I might bake some veges. We'll see. I had some lollies yesterday and regretted them. They make me feel crook. I might make a soy custard to go with breakfast. Or I might go back to bed. Decisions!
